Four years of Type C Creative

Four years ago this month I publicly (and legally) launched Type C Creative, and it’s been almost a year since I was able to make it my full-time job.

I’ve learned a lot over the last four years, about myself and business. If I could offer my past self some advice it would be this:

• Don’t pay for any fancy software right now, you don’t need it.

• Don’t purchase any self-paced courses, you won’t watch them.

• There will be a time to “legitimize” but now is the time to experiment and learn.

• You’re not charging enough, babe.

• Unfollow all those accounts that make you feel like you aren’t good enough.

• It’s okay (and it actually pays) to be different. Trust yourself.

• Don’t waste your time and energy with social media; building genuine relationships and doing good work for your clients will be your most effective marketing strategy.

Thanks to coaching with Giada Centofanti, Jenni Gritters’ CREATE program (+ Gene Keys), and trusting my gut/identifying my needs, I’ve spent the last few months making space for what’s next for Type C Creative and me.

I plan on launching my new website soon, but I wanted to give everyone a gentle heads up about my services/prices in case you’re ready to invest in your systems and want to save $500 or so.

If you book a service with me through the month of August, I’ll honor my old rate. Starting September 1st, my services and prices will be changing (see below for deets).

In addition to the price tag, I’ve also renamed my services to better reflect the type of value I bring to folx who work with me.

I’m not a typical ‘Type A’ systems strategist.

I don’t believe in building systems for the sake of productivity and/or efficiency alone.

People who work with me feel more grounded because together we plant a solid foundation; one that takes into account the nature of who they are and what’s most important to them.

I want what I name my offers to reflect that. So here they are:
