My Unsponsored Love of Notion
I started using Notion a few months ago and it's unlike any other productivity platform I've used before (and I've used almost all of them).
I'd like to start this email with a bit of a disclaimer. I'm a registered Hype Girl in the state of Florida. My license extends throughout the entire world and it will never expire. I say this because while some of my emails may seem like sponsored ads, I can assure you none of these brands know who the hell I am, nor do they care. (Honestly, their loss.) All thoughts are my own and, unfortunately for me, not monetized.
What's the German word for when you discover a new platform or technology that blows your freaking mind? Because it happens to me a lot.
I started using Notion a few months ago and it's unlike any other productivity platform I've used before (and I've used almost all of them).
I currently use Notion for:
Client dashboards
Contact lists
Marketing & content ideas
Subscription/expense tracking
Filing templates for emails, client questionnaires, etc.
Outlining the book of essays I may never finish
Storing my Morning Pages
Tracking books I've read/want to read
Taking/storing meeting notes
It was also the tool I used to prepare for my business launch.

What is Notion?
It's like the bullet journal of productivity software. Notion can be whatever the heck you want or need it to be! You can use it for task or project management, mood boards, client management, note taking, hosting your portfolio or website, and probably so many more things. It's totally customizable, both in function and in look and feel. You can also embed other tools like Google Docs/Sheets, Calendars, and more.
Cool, what's the catch?
If you like to make simple things really complicated (same here, no shade) or prefer a ready-made system, you may be a tad overwhelmed by all the possibilities Notion has to offer. Fortunately for you, Notion comes with ready-made templates for you to utilize — and has a cult-like following of creators who are constantly coming up with new systems.
My favorite Notion creator/template maker is Zoe Chew. You can find some of her free (and paid) templates here.
Notion is free for personal use and is very inexpensive for teams to utilize. Check it out and let me know what you think!
