I have really shitty auditory processing. If I’m to retain anything of importance, it needs to be written down (or transcribed) so that I can remember what I need to do.
That makes virtual meetings feel really high-pressure for me. Before finding an AI note taker, I was always so focused on taking accurate notes that I couldn’t be fully present in the conversation.
I’ve tried a lot of transcription services before but never one I liked enough to actually pay for. That was until I started using Granola!
Granola is fabulous — it can transcribe, summarize, and enhance my meeting notes across any software (Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack Huddle, FaceTime, etc.)
Instead of focusing on writing down every word, I just quickly take note of what’s most important — and Granola takes care of the rest.
My favorite feature is probably the “Ask about the meeting…” search bar.
Instead of searching the transcript for a question, I just ask Granola and it searches for/finds what I’m looking for!
You can also ask it to write follow-up emails, list action items, and more. Sometimes I ask it to summarize the meeting and put it into an event description that I can use for the session replay.
It is truly so simple and fabulous! And you get your first 25 meetings free, so there’s no pressure to purchase right away. I took full advantage of the trial before subscribing — now it’s $10/mo (which is pretty reasonable given the price of other AI transcription services I’ve used).
I make no money or referral credits from this review — Granola has just seriously changed my life lol.
Check it out and LMK what you think!
Peace, love and memory loss,
Andrea
