I’m discontinuing paid subscriptions on Substack. If you are currently a paid subscriber, you will no longer be charged for your subscription. As a thank you for your support, I’m offering all annual subscribers a free Systems Power Hour that you can book any time throughout 2025.

Hey there!

I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has invested your hard-earned money into my work. Whether it’s a Substack subscription, a Buy Me a Coffee tip, services, or anywhere in between. Your support has meant the absolute world to me and makes it possible for me to live and work.

Per my journalism training, I won’t bury the lede: I've decided to discontinue paid subscriptions on Substack. This wasn't the easiest decision to make, but it feels right for where I am right now.

I started my paid subscription out of necessity almost two years ago – I’d been laid off from my full-time job and was just trying to figure out how to provide for myself, and for my cat (obviously).

I always intended for this newsletter to be a place where I can share ideas and inspirations as they come to me. I didn’t set out to make money from it. I’m not a content creator, I’m a service provider. And I’ve reached a point in my business where I want to prioritize what I enjoy and release the idea that I need to monetize all of it.

I'm still going to be sharing my thoughts on Rebellious Systems for free! The newsletter isn't going anywhere – I’m just shifting its structure a bit.

Sometimes the most compassionate thing we can do for ourselves is step back and say, "This isn't working for me anymore." That's what I'm doing, and I'm super grateful to be a part of a community that gets that.

I genuinely enjoy writing this newsletter, especially when there is no content calendar involved. I'm looking forward to continuing our connection through Rebellious Systems, just in a way that better honors my energy and needs right now.

If you are a free subscriber, nothing is changing! I just wanted you to know what’s going on (in case you need permission to change your mind about something).
